Tri Marine, along with our plant, Seafman, dedicate this year’s #InternationalDayOfEducation (observed on January 24) to Josefa Mendoza de Mora school in Manta, Ecuador, for their participation in our plastic recycling and adopt-a-plant programs.

462 students aged six to ten collected and prevented over 8,500 plastic bottles from reaching the ocean. The plastic was sold to a local recycler with the proceeds donated to NGO RACSE’s Sea Turtle Care program.

Around 180 students aged 8-12 learned about the role of plants and each received a small one to care for. We believe education is crucial in fostering a sustainable mindset, and we’re thrilled to share that other neighboring schools will participate in the project this year.
